About Kappa League:

Kappa League is not just an organization; it’s a movement dedicated to empowering young men across the valley. Through mentorship, career opportunities, and exposure, Kappa League instills values of leadership, personal growth, and academic excellence in its members. Our program brings together successful men with 6th – 12th grade male students from diverse backgrounds, nurturing their potential and guiding them towards a brighter future.

Theme: Breaking Barriers and Empowering Change

This year, our theme resonates with the spirit of progress and transformation. We believe in breaking down barriers and empowering change-makers of tomorrow. Through our dedication to personal, academic, and leadership development, we aim to inspire positive change in our community and beyond.

Special Guest: Jevin D. Hodge

We are thrilled to introduce our distinguished keynote speaker for this year’s event, Jevin D. Hodge. With an impressive track record as a community and business leader in Arizona, Jevin brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the table.

Professionally, Jevin serves as the Director of National Engagement and Partnerships for LINK Strategic Partners, a renowned international consulting firm headquartered in Washington, D.C. Leading operations from Phoenix, he collaborates with community partners and clients worldwide to drive social impact across governments, non-profits, and businesses.

Jevin’s commitment to community leadership is evident. He holds the prestigious positions of President and Chairman of the Board for the Booker T. Washington Child Development Center, Arizona’s longest-running Head Start school. Through BTW, Jevin spearheads efforts to provide essential early childhood education and services to nearly a thousand low-income families across 35 sites in Phoenix.

Jevin’s outstanding contributions have been recognized with numerous accolades, including the City of Tempe’s Martin Luther King, Jr. Service Award, the East Valley NAACP’s Roy Wilkins Service Award for Lifetime Achievement, and Grambling State University’s MLK Award, among others. His impactful work at LINK Strategic Partners has earned him industry recognition, while his insightful perspectives on business, civics, and leadership have made him a sought-after speaker at national conferences.

A true advocate for Arizona, Jevin has been actively involved in political engagements, having served in leadership roles within a major political party in the state. His dedication to education and public service is evident through his efforts to secure millions of dollars in funding for Arizona schools.

Despite his remarkable achievements, Jevin remains grounded in his roots as the oldest son of a single mother, having grown up in public housing in Tempe, Arizona. He is a proud graduate of The George Washington University in D.C.
